Duke Rape Case: ALL LIES

The Attorney General of North Carolina has just announced that the three former Duke Lacrosse players that have been accused of raping an exotic dancer just over a year ago have been found by his office to be INNOCENT of all charges. That my friends is a very huge admission by the state attorney. Anyone with a knowledge of law knows that prosecutors never admit they are wrong and certainly never say that the accused are innocent of all charges. They usually just say that there was never enough evidence to get a conviction and thats for good reason, they're all elected officials and no elected official likes to lose votes. Mike Nifong abused his responsibility not only to those who voted for him but to the justice system that has charged him with that responsibility and should be disbarred or simply should resign (but he won't). As for the woman who accused these players, she is simply a lier that has gotten away with destroying the lives of all involved in this case as well as, more importantly, brought a creditability cloud over any future legitimate rape accusations. This case was a travesty from the get go and it has cost a coach his job, three students their right to play and attend classes at that University until being proven guilty and parents money that was spent to defend their son's freedoms. Money that they luckily had to spend and hopefully will get back in upcoming law litigation against the state and Nifong. And as for the University, they showed their true colors and their belief in the justice system's creed that all accused are innocent until proven guilty. For that all future Duke students should keep at the front of their minds! But the real question is: How many are there who are in jail serving sentences for crimes that they might not have committed? The answer: Is that the North Carolina State attorney should now review all cases that Nifong proscuted but all cases with in the state. And the tax payers of that state should pay for any miscarriage of justice. God Bless these players and their families and God Bless their futures!
