MLB Selig makes 14 million!

I was so happy to read that the Major League Baseball Commissioner did so well last year. In fact a friend of mine happened to have read that same newspaper report and did so out loud at his breakfast table and his son, who happens to be six years old said back to him; Daddy, what is baseball? What your six year old has never been to a game?,I asked. It seems that he hasn't taken his son to see that great American past time and told me that he never will since he can't afford the price of one ticket let alone four. This is where baseball has arrived. In a place where only those earning over six digits can comfortably afford to treat their families to a day at the ballgame. A place where those less fortunate can only watch a game on T.V.(hopefully they have cable, otherwise they have to wait for those few regular network games to air). A place where sky luxury boxes become the driving force behind designs of all the new stadiums. Build them small and make sure that there are many luxury boxes right Bud. Its a place where little league associations who want to dress their kids in uniforms that display the names of the big league teams are told that they can't because of trademark and financial reasons and where some have actually have been sued by big league clubs. A place where getting an autograph cost as much as a ticket. Ah yes Bud made millions and in doing so turned away millions, I guess thats good business.
